FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WASHINGTON, D.C., APRIL 24, 2018 — The Adams Morgan Bike to Work Day pit stop promises to be the largest yet, with engaged local vendors, giveaways and goodies. Bike to Work Day returns to the DC region on Friday, May 18. Last year, more than 650 riders registered at the Adams Morgan pit stop, making it the third largest in DC. This year, the Adams Morgan Partnership BID will partner with BicycleSPACE and City Bikes for tune-up stations and bicycle-related raffles. Tryst and The Line Hotel will provide snacks, water and coffee. Volunteers from the Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA), which is headquartered in Adams Morgan, will help ensure the event runs smoothly.
The pit stop will be open from 7:30 am to 9:30 am at Unity Park, at Columbia Road NW and Euclid Street NW. To reserve your free Bike To Work Day T-shirt, register for the Adams Morgan pit stop at http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org.
