The Story of Our Schools celebrates the role of schools within our city’s rich history. We facilitate a process of self-discovery for students and local communities by creating permanent, history-based exhibits in DC schools.

These interactive learning projects engage current and future students, instill a sense of pride in the school community, excite prospective families and local residents, and leave a positive legacy for future generations.

Our Third Annual Auction promises to be a fun evening filled with great people! Please join us as we auction off prizes such as museum tours, sport tickets, certificates to local restaurants, ski packages, beach house rentals, and much more! All proceeds support the continued growth of The Story of Our Schools and programing at our 2019 – 2020 partner schools-Oyster-Adams Bilingual School and Eliot-Hine Middle School.
